welcome to Home away from home!

We are a family born in a little town called Isle aux Morts, on the southwest coast of Newfoundland near Port aux Basques. Growing up in Newfoundland we had a cottage in the valley and spent our time camping, fishing, hunting, and swimming in the brooks. Now we’ve got our dream, our Home Away From Home Campground. It’s our little piece of heaven here in Nova Scotia to share with family and friends. We hope you’ll come join us! 

We see our campground as more than just a place to stay, but as a real community. Relax and enjoy this beautiful part of Canada. Have campfires, BBQs, play washer toss, horseshoes, let the kids run and play or just lay back and relax. Spend a little time exploring the area, nestled alongside the wonderful Bay of Fundy, one of the most unique places in all the world.
